NTAG Lands Major Vegas Contract with Harrah’s

Boston-based nTAG Interactive has entered what promises to be a lucrative partnership with Las Vegas Meetings by Harrah’s Entertainment.
According to the agreement, nTAG’s event data management equipment will be on site at all seven of Harrah’s Entertainment’s Las Vegas properties. The two firms will co-market and co-sell the use of the nTAG System to corporate meetings at Harrah’s hotels.
NTAG’s equipment will be permanently installed at Bally’s Las Vegas, Caesars Palace, Flamingo Las Vegas, Harrah’s Las Vegas, Imperial Palace, Paris Las Vegas and Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, which, according to the corporation, conduct approximately 4,000 meetings, conventions and events each year.
“This means the equipment needed to run the system will be there and ready to go for any group that opts to use the badges,” said Michael Massari, vice president of meeting sales and operations for Las Vegas Meetings by Harrah’s Entertainment. “To the customer, this equals cost savings, as the infrastructure is already there, and equipment does not need to be shipped and installed for each individual group.”
Built around nTAG’s interactive name badge, the system gives event planners and participants ways to measure their success in reaching objectives related to education, motivation, retention, customer loyalty, community building and brand impact.
Massari said the system would be particularly useful for tradeshow organizers, who can track and report on traffic to their exhibitors, or use it themselves for networking, conducting feedback surveys, tracking attendance and traffic patterns, and more. Organizers also can offer exhibitors the system as either a benefit or an upgrade that allows them to network with potential clients, collect buyer information, track visitors to their booths and conduct follow-up activities.
