Show Management Convention Services in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., named Steve Bowman national sales manager. Bowman was previously national sales manager with the Boca Raton (Fla.) Resort and Club.
Matthew Cohn was promoted to vice chairman of the ASI Family of Companies, including responsibility for ASI (the Advertising Specialty Institute), The ASI Show and ASI Computer Systems. He was previously president of The ASI Show. Timothy M. Andrews, president and CEO of ASI, was named to the additional posts of president of The ASI Show and vice chairman of ASI Computer Systems.
George Dean, president and CEO of the Greater Phoenix Urban League, was named chairman of the Greater Phoenix Convention & Visitors Bureau board of directors.
Natl. Trade Productions named Brandon Hensley vice president of sales for client events.
High Point Market’s IHFC named Lee B. Hershberg vice president of accessory leasing. He was previously show director of the kitchen and bath group at Nielsen Business Media.
Freeman hired Brad Kent as vice president for account strategy. Kent will provide resources for all national sales groups within Freeman, including exposition services, corporate accounts and audio visual services.
LA Inc., Los Angeles’ convention and visitors bureau, appointed Barbara Kirklighter senior sales director for sales development and operations.
GES Exposition Services hired Mike Kovac as director of international logistics. Kovac has 18 years of experience in international exhibition logistics and was most recently director of sales and marketing for Three Way Logistics.
World Market Center in Las Vegas appointed Bob Maricich president and CEO.
