New this year: The collocation with a new U.S. version of Deutsche Messe's major annual biotechnology tradeshow, Biotechnica. Organizers expected the collocated show to draw an additional 100 exhibitors and 1,000 attendees to another 15,000 sq. ft.

The bottom line: With the addition of Biotechnica, along with a second collocated show that launched last year, PharmaMedDevice, focusing on medical devices, Reed Exhibitions hopes to provide one-stop shopping for anybody even remotely related to the pharmaceuticals business.
