WIN – World of Industry posted slightly lower attendance, compared with last year. Hannover Messe produced the show as a two-part event Feb. 7-10 and Feb. 28-March 2, first for the machinery, welding, surface treatment and materials handling industries; then for the automation, electrotech and hydraulic and pneumatic sectors. A total of 120,673 attendees were at the event in Istanbul, Turkey's Tuyap Fair, Convention and Conference Center, compared with 122,565 in 2007.

CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2008 and the collocated IFPE 2008 triennial expositions, which focus on equipment, product innovations and technological advances for the construction, construction materials and power transmission industries, set national records for attendance, exhibit space sold and number of exhibiting companies. More than 144,600 industry professionals from around the world attended the shows March 11-15 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The 2005 show attracted 124,300 attendees.
