Heiner Federli, chief executive of Swiss BEA Bern Expo from 2004 to 2007, has resumed the position on an interim basis following the illness of current CEO Christoph Caviezel.
Jennifer Hoff was promoted to COO of Natl. Trade Productions and Jennifer Hardee to director of operations. Alicia Auerswald was named director of marketing for client events, and Ellen Drudy was hired as senior operations manager.
Kim Jae-Hyo was appointed president and CEO of the Exco Daegu Exhibition & Convention Center in Daegu, South Korea.
The Pasadena (Calif.) Convention & Visitors Bureau appointed John Kearns director of communications.

Robert Sauter was promoted to assistant general manager of San Francisco's Moscone Center. He was previously director of events and operations.
Patrizia Semprebene Buongiorno, managing director of AIM-Group AIM-Intl., was elected president of the Intl. Assn. of Professional Congress Organizers. She succeeded Andre Vietor, who became chairman of IAPCO's ethics committee.
Patric Sjoberg was appointed managing director of Stockholm Intl. Fairs. He was previously managing director of human resources for the SAS Group.
Eddie Tadlock was named assistant general manager of DeVos Place in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Star Exhibits and Environments promoted Mike Wager from vice president of operations to president. He replaced Mark Johnson, who remains CEO.
The Austin (Texas) Convention & Visitors Bureau hired Jennifer Walker as director of marketing communications.
Alexander Wurst was named head of the Intl. Trade Fairs division of Deutsche Messe in Hannover, Germany, succeeding Andreas Gruchow, who joined Deutsche Messe's management board.
