The United Kingdom's Exhibition Industry Alliance has formed a partnership with three international events industry organizations: The Exhibition & Event Assn. of Australasia, the Irish Exhibition Organisers Assn. and the Intl. Exhibition Logistics Associates. EIA Group Chief Executive Trevor Foley said that the collective official support, as well as the additional financial investment in EIA's promotional efforts, will be a boost for the EIA.
Event Management Communication will distribute Applied Computer Technology's Expocad in the United Kingdom and Europe.
Hong Kong-based AsiaWorld-Expo's new events this year include Coffee Fest Asia Nov. 7-9 and the 47th Orient and Southeast Asian Lions Forum, held last year in Korea. Around 8,000 Lions Club members are expected to attend the Dec. 4-7 convention.
