Matthew Benyon was appointed managing director of Expomedia Events U.K.
The Arlington (Texas) Convention & Visitors Bureau hired Jay Burress as CEO. Burress, previously senior vice president of sales and marketing for the Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau, will begin his new duties June 2.
Kurt Collins, former general manager of Smart City Washington, D.C., at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, was named national sales and marketing director for Hi-Tech Electric.
Reed Exhibitions promoted Debbie Evans to managing director, Reed Exhibitions Australia. She was previously group exhibition director.
Access Intelligence promoted Jenn Heinold to show director of the Satellite Conference and Exhibition. She was previously the event's marketing director.
The Green Meeting Industry Council named Tamara Kennedy-Hill executive director.
The Kissimmee (Fla.) Convention & Visitors Bureau named Tom Lang director.
Champion Exposition Services announced that Steve McNally was promoted from COO to executive vice president, and John Koval and Ron Brown were promoted to share McNally's COO position. Koval will be responsible for the eastern region, while Brown will focus on the western portion of the country.
Brian Pagel was appointed vice president of the Kitchen and Bath Group, the Nielsen Business Media division that produces the Kitchen/Bath Industry Show for the Natl. Kitchen & Bath Assn.
The George Fern Co. named Greg Pignatiello director of business development. Pignatiello is based in the company's Cleveland office.
Event management software provider WingateWeb named David Preston director in the United Kingdom, responsible for all operations in Europe. He was formerly managing director for U.K.-based Delegate Management Services.
