Texworld USA Will Expand Showfloor
-- Tradeshow Week, 6/2/2008
The upcoming Texworld USA, July 14-16 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center of New York, changed its dates and will expand its showfloor.
The show, launched in 2006 by Messe Frankfurt, will be on a Monday-through-Wednesday time schedule – rather than Tuesday through Thursday – to accommodate a showfloor that is doubling in size. Show Manager Stephanie Everett said the increase in showfloor size was made to accommodate textile manufacturing exhibitors. However, she would not disclose the size of the show last year or its projected size this year.
“This one-time change allows us to bring even more value to the attendees and exhibitors of Texworld USA,” Everett said. “We will be able to showcase many more of the newest and most innovative product lines for the fall-winter 2009-10 season.”
Everett said the show, as in previous years, expects an increase in exhibitors and has already seen an increase in attendee pre-registrations.
“Since the show hasn't happened yet, I really have no hard figures,” she added. The 2007 show had more than 2,500 attendees and 194 exhibitors from 16 countries, according to Messe Frankfurt.
