Audience Targeting Will Be the Topic

Encore Media Partners will host an Event Marketing Roundtable for senior-level tradeshow, conference and event marketing professionals Oct. 16 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The forum is part of Encore's “Agent of Change” Thought Leadership Series launched at the same location last year to focus on solutions for engaging high-value target audiences. This year's topics will include attendee marketing strategy, audience research, target segmentation, media mix, digital marketing, campaign tracking and analysis.
Cris Levy, Encore Media Partners managing partner, said the face-to-face concept builds on the popularity of other interactive resources such as MySpace. The series came about based on feedback from Encore's presentations at the SISO Executive Conference and the Intl. Assn. of Exhibitions and Events' Expo! Expo!, Levy said.
“I saw a need for a dedicated peer-to-peer forum on the mission-critical issue of audience acquisition,” he added.
Roundtable attendance is limited to a group of 15 to enable participants to have a candid, in-depth discussion and maximize knowledge transfer. Levy will introduce the forum and then allow participants to interact with each other.
There is no cost for qualified professionals, but participation is by invitation only.
“There are no sponsors and no guarantee of business for me, but I get insight on what the hot issues are and credibility and credit for bringing people together,” Levy said.
