Managing an event online just got a little easier, according to Champion Exposition Services.
The company released C3 2.0, an updated version of its original technology, with a number of new features to continue providing tradeshow and event managers with an online system that is fully synched to every step of the management cycle.
“Service is at the core of every Champion engagement,” said Mark Epstein, Champion's president and CEO. “The C3 2.0 platform provides our clients with the tools they need to efficiently manage the ecosystem of their event or tradeshow from anywhere in the world.”
According to Epstein, the updated features are a result of feedback from customers who asked for the capability to place orders online, as well as have customized reporting and approval tools, reusable workflow and process templates and an interactive e-mail alert system to simplify personal and organizational management.
Jenn Sioteco, an operations manager for United Business Media, said she was initially concerned about using the product because so many different people would be inputting information and she was afraid of losing control of the process. “But the flexibility of C3 2.0 enabled me to retain control of the overall project,” Sioteco said.
A bonus to putting everything online, she added, was the reduction in paperwork “at a time when being green is increasingly important.”
