The WQA Aquatech USA 2008 water treatment show, March 26-28 at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, posted an 18-percent increase in attendance, compared with 2007. Water Quality Assn. officials said 4,595 people attended this year, compared with 3,900 in 2007.
The Dongguan China Shoes/China Shoetec 2008, April 16-18 in Dongguan, China, for footwear and footwear materials and machinery, attracted 20,580 trade visitors from 80 countries, compared with the spring 2007 event's 22,105 visitors.
