German Pavilion Premieres at TS2
-- Tradeshow Week, 6/30/2008
TS2 2008 will have an official German Pavilion when the show takes place July 28-31 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia.
Under a “Made-in-Germany” sign, 10 German companies will showcase their products for tradeshow exhibitors. All 10 participants are members of FAMAB, which is a seal of quality for the Assn. of Direct Business Communications in Germany. The association is a pool of specialists in the event marketing and design fields, and the German companies are mainly exhibit designers and producers, according to Shauna Peters, marketing manager for Natl. Trade Productions, which owns TS2.
“The addition of a German Pavilion at TS2 allows the show to broaden its scope and provide our attendees with services to assist them in their international endeavors,” she said. “As business becomes increasingly global, we are aware that reaching international audiences is of concern to many of our attendees.”
The companies that will exhibit were chosen by FAMAB, Peters said, because they represent what is available in Germany. Peters said TS2 always has been open to an international presence on the showfloor, and FAMAB expressed interest in bringing a contingent to the show.
“Like many other design houses, (the 10 German companies) also have branched out into more full-service marketing offerings and can assist a company in all aspects of their exhibit needs, including navigating the international landscape,” she added.
The German companies that will be at TS2 are atelier scherer; bluepool; CHRITTO Intl.; Conform; FAIRNET; Germany, Federal Republic of; mmd live design; SpeedDimension; Voblo; and Zeissig.
