Hanley Wood, Experient Sign Deal
-- Tradeshow Week, 8/4/2008
Experient has struck a deal with Hanley Wood Exhibitions that will include registration services for 12 of the tradeshow company's annual events during the next four years.
The agreement that will run from this past June through June 2012 includes Hanley Wood shows such as World of Concrete, Surfaces and Intl. Pool & Spa Expo/Backyard Living Expo.
“This agreement is a huge win for Experient,” said Brad Weaber, Experient chief customer officer. “Hanley Wood demands execution excellence at their events, and we strive to deliver experiences that exceed their standards. The length of this contract demonstrates the success of our efforts.”
According to Experient, it will provide advance and on-site registration services, produce and mail credentials to an estimated 190,000 pre-registered attendees, and supervise the registration activities of an estimated 23,000 attendees onsite annually.
“We've been working with Experient since 2000. We've developed a partnership over the years with processes that work for our events,” said Shawn Pierce, Hanley Wood's vice president of divisional operations.
He added, “Before signing such a comprehensive, long-term agreement, we needed to make sure that we were working with a partner who understood our needs and could meet our sometimes tough demands. Experient has proven to be such a partner.”
Experient works with more than 3,300 events attended by more than 2.8 million people that occupy more than 5.5 million room nights, according to the company.
