- Toronto approved a 10-year sponsorship agreement between Exhibition Place and MTS Allstream, which sells enterprise communications services across Canada under its Allstream brand. The new conference center, being built within the heritage facade of the former Automotive Building, will be named Allstream Centre – A Conference & Convention Centre at Exhibition Place and will be referred to as the Allstream Centre as of summer 2009.
- H&S Public Relations, a collaboration between M. Silver Associates and Sandy Hillman Communications, now will handle public relations for the Singapore Tourism Board in North America.
- Gulf Air and the Bahrain Exhibition & Convention Authority announced Gulf Air will be the official carrier for all events organized by the BECA in Bahrain and abroad.
