The second annual Global Gaming Expo Asia, organized by the American Gaming Assn. and Reed Exhibitions and held June 3-5 at the Cotai Strip Convention and Exhibition Center in Macau, attracted 5,154 exhibit hall, conference and media attendees, a 73-percent increase, compared with last year's event when about 3,000 attended.
Nielsen Business Media's Health+Fitness Business Conference & Expo, held July 17-18 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, attracted 640 buyers, compared with 881 last year, a 27-percent decline. Show management attributed the decline in attendance to recent retail industry consolidation, leading to fewer buyers.
