Staging Connections announced that Paul Hermann joined the company as director of major projects for Staging Connections Melbourne in Australia.
After nine years with dmg world media's Surf Expo, Nikki Houston, account executive for the show's surf, wind and kite categories, resigned to become director of the Imprinted Sportswear shows. The role of account executive for the surf category will be filled by Surf Expo Sales Director Amy Hornby. Doog Becker, skate and wake category account executive, will assume sales responsibility for the wind category.

Terri Monaghan, executive director of the Martin County (Fla.) Convention & Visitors Bureau, died June 13 of cancer. Monaghan, who took over the CVB in October 2006, was 60. The CVB board appointed Mary Palczer, sales and marketing manager, as interim director.
