AEM Launches New Ag Exhibition
-- Tradeshow Week, 8/11/2008
Agriculture professionals will have another show for education and information come 2010.
The Assn. of Equipment Manufacturers will launch a new international agriculture event, Ag Connect Expo, Jan. 12-15, 2010, at Orlando's Orange County Convention Center.
“Agriculture today is global and dynamic,” said Dennis Slater, AEM president. “Industry professionals want access to the best information and the best people possible, without boundaries.”
According to AEM, Ag Connect Expo will provide industry professionals with insights into U.S. and international agriculture policies. Education will be a key component of the show.
“Our goal is for Ag Connect Expo to become the forum for sharing global agriculture ideas and management trends,” said Charlie O'Brien, AEM vice president of agriculture services.
AEM plans to hold the event in 2010 and 2011 before shifting to a biennial format.
Show organizers estimate the inaugural event will have 250,000 net square feet of exhibit space, 700 exhibitors and 20,000 professional attendees.
AEM already manages the triennial CONEXPO-CON/AGG, the biennial ICUEE and the annual World of Asphalt (except for years in which CONEXPO-CON/AGG is held).
