Aaron Bludworth, a 17-year industry veteran, left GES Exposition Services to become COO of George E. Fern. He will work out of the company’s Cincinnati headquarters. For almost a year, Bludworth served a dual role as vice president of corporate events and vice president of sales for GES. Prior to that, Bludworth held various management positions at Salt Lake City-based Modern Exposition Services. Bludworth will continue as president of the Exhibition Services & Contractors Assn. until his term expires at the end of the year.
Edlen Electrical Exhibition Services recently announced staff changes and promotions: Tina Basilio, Yolanda Lentes and Melanie Libonati were promoted to senior event manager. A seven-year company employee, Basilio has worked in the tradeshow industry for 10 years. In her eight years with the company, Lentes previously worked as event manager after starting in the accounting department. Libonati takes over Edlen’s event management responsibilities at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino. A five-year Edlen employee, Libonati has worked in customer service for 19 years.
Amy Gracey and Andrea McCall joined Edlen as event managers. Gracey and McCall bring 15 and four years of customer service experience to their new positions, respectively.
