GES Exposition Services has secured its long-standing connection with the largest fashion industry tradeshow. The general service contractor signed a five-year contract extension with Advanstar Communications’ MAGIC Intl. tradeshow. The new contract continues the 15-year relationship between the mega garment industry event and its general service contractor.
“GES is very proud to continue our partnership with Advanstar,” said GES President and CEO Kevin Rabbitt. “The GES team knows MAGIC’s exhibitors. We are able to anticipate and plan for their needs, resulting in an easier exhibiting experience at the show.”
According to Advanstar Executive Vice President of Exhibitions Tony Calanca, GES is just the show producer to meet the event’s operations and customer-service demands.
“(We are) pleased to extend our relationship with GES through 2013,” Calanca said. “The size and scope of MAGIC Intl. requires a level of commitment to operations and customer service excellence. … We value our partnership with the talented GES team.”
The semiannual event, held at the Las Vegas Convention Center and Las Vegas Hilton, is one of the largest exhibition events for the fashion industry, representing 4,000 companies, 5,000 brands, 20,000 product lines and attracting 120,000 attendees from 80 countries.
MAGIC's spring event will take place Feb. 17-19.
