Twenty-year industry veteran Danielle Babilino was named senior vice president of sales for Wynn Las Vegas and Encore. In her new role, Babilino will oversee all aspects of hotel sales and operations. Most recently, she was vice president of hotel sales and marketing at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas project. Prior to that, she served in sales, marketing and management capacities at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino and Bally’s Las Vegas.
After eight years, Erika Pope left her position as senior manager of public relations at the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority. Pope was responsible for media and public relations efforts for the LVCVA, including media interviews, partnering with resort public relations for publicity efforts and developing media events. She intends to move into public relations consulting work.
Randy Wells recently joined the Las Vegas Design Center at World Market Center as vice president. In his newly created position, Wells will focus on management of the Las Vegas Design Center. Previously, he spent three years as president of Valtekz Composite Fabrics – where he focused on new product distribution. Before that, as manager at Century Furniture, he oversaw product development, pricing and sales. Wells has been in the home furnishing and design industry for 12 years.
