Jordan Clark was promoted from vice president of sales for Las Vegas Meetings by Harrah’s Entertainment to vice president of sales for Harrah’s Entertainment. In his new role, Clark will retain his responsibilities with the Las Vegas Meetings by Harrah’s Entertainment brand while working to create synergies across Harrah’s properties nationwide.
USA Hosts appointed Lisa Derby director of sales and marketing of its Las Vegas office. Previously, Derby served as national sales manager at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino and as a partner marketing manager at Microsoft.
GES Exposition Services recently made two executive promotions: Bill Carter was named executive vice president and COO. Since joining GES in January 2008, Carter has served as executive vice president of U.S. operations, as well as interim general manager of the company’s Las Vegas operations. Previously, Carter was managing director of Epiq Systems Electronic Discovery Business Unit in New York.
Steve Moster was promoted to executive vice president and chief sales and marketing officer. Previously, Moster was executive vice president of products and services and vice president of exhibit furnishings at GES. Prior to joining GES in 2004, Moster was an engagement manager at McKinsey & Co.
