• Merchandise Mart Properties added personnel to the leasing team at its properties in High Point, N.C., and promoted two others. Brian C. Bunch joined the High Point leasing team as assistant general manager and vice president of sales, and Jim Gooding joined as vice president of sales. Steve Johnson was promoted to vice president for administration and assistant general manager and Paul Sperano to director of operations.
• Impact Unlimited named Jody Catlow director of new business for its West Coast office.
• Professional Exhibits & Graphics promoted Michael E. Finein to vice president of client experience.
• The Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Resort named James Gelfand director of sales.
• The Qatar Natl. Convention Centre named Sue Hocking director of sales.
• Event Marketing Group hired Michelle Hurley as executive producer.
• Experient hired Jason Jordan as regional director of the Experient Sales Network.
• MC² added B. Scott Kellogg as senior designer for exhibits and environments, Martin Knott as vice president and Mark Rubinsky as an executive producer in the company’s Chestnut Ridge, N.Y., office.
• SmithBucklin promoted Julianne Bendel Lawless and Julie Sutter to director. Lawless is in the health care business unit, and Sutter is in the business trade business unit, both in the Chicago office.
• Suntec Singapore Intl. Convention & Exhibition Centre named Arun Madhok director of business development.
• Barry Moskowitz was promoted to vice president of convention sales at the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau.
• Olivia Simmons, former vice president of the Wichita (Kan.) Convention & Visitors Bureau, was named president of Visit Topeka (Kan.).
• Joe Terzi, former regional vice president for Starwood Hotels, was named interim president and CEO of the San Diego Convention & Visitors Bureau, following the resignation of David Peckinpaugh. Peckinpaugh’s contract was set to expire June 30.
