NY Gift Fair to Get a Bit Speedier
-- Tradeshow Week, 11/2/2009
Things will move a little faster at the New York Intl. Gift Fair in February when the Gift and Home Trade Assn. hosts a session called “Speed Networking & Sourcing with the Gift and Home Trade Assn.”
The Feb. 1 session will focus on industry innovation and change at the show scheduled Jan. 30-Feb. 4 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center of New York.
Vendors, sales agencies and retailers will join members of the GHTA board of directors and the GHTA's retailer advisory board for networking and information sharing.
The session will allow participants to connect and share business strategies and practices, as well as learn more about the GHTA.
“We benefit greatly from sharing experiences, knowledge and practices,” said Diane Carnevale Jones, executive director of the GHTA. “This session will provide vendors, sales agencies and retailers with an ideal opportunity for this communication to take place.”
Dorothy Belshaw, NYIGF's director and George Little Management senior vice president, said, “The retailer-focused educational session, coupled with this new, industry-exclusive networking event, are wonderful components to NYIGF's slate of winter market activities.”
