HIMMS Opts For Vegas Over Chicago in 2012

The Healthcare Information & Management Systems Society Annual Conference & Exhibition, ranked No. 49 on the 2009 Tradeshow Week 200, will go to Las Vegas instead of Chicago in 2012, according to Chicago Convention & Tourism Bureau officials. “HIMSS has made a business decision based on exhibitor input," said Tim Roby, president and CEO of the CCTB. "Its decision not to return to Chicago in 2012 is disappointing. The CCTB and MPEA did everything in our power to keep HIMSS in Chicago.”
