New York Gift Announces Changes

The New York Intl. Gift Fair will transform the look of the showfloor between now and 2013, resulting in the creation of four market collections: NYIGF Home, NYIGF Lifestyle, NYIGF Handmade and NYIGF New!, each with distinct product categories. "By improving category adjacencies, refining existing offerings and introducing new in-demand product categories, NYIGF will offer comprehensive and trend-forward product collections for home, lifestyle and gift in a clear, navigable and energized layout," said Dorothy Belshaw, NYIGF director and senior vice president at George Little Management, a dmg world media business that produces the show. The floorplan changes will align with the construction and renovation planned at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center of New York, where NYIGF is staged.
