Highlights

• The San Diego Convention Center, right on the San Diego Bay, is at the heart of a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly downtown. A new 1,190-room headquarters hotel next to the center, the Hilton San Diego Convention Center Hotel, is under construction and scheduled to open in 2008. When completed, the hotel will boost the room inventory within one mile of the facility past the 11,000 mark.
