CONEXPO-CON/AGG Tops TSW 200

-- Tradeshow Week, 4/29/2009 3:46:00 PM

The triennial CONEXPO-CON/AGG not only is No. 1 on the 2009 Tradeshow Week 200 released today, but also the construction equipment show held in Las Vegas in January last year was the largest tradeshow ever held in the United States, with a record-breaking 2.2-million plus net square foot showfloor. Intl. CES is No. 2 on the list and, with 1.9 million net sq. ft., is the largest annual show held in the U.S. Fifteen tradeshows made their debut on the latest TSW 200, and Chicago recovered its position as the second busiest destination for the biggest tradeshows (after Las Vegas) from Orlando, which had been No. 2 since 2006.
