Introductions
May 8, 2008

Introduction
Hey there everybody
Please don't romp or roam
We're a little nervous
'Cause we're so far from home
So this is what we do
Sit back and let us groove
And let us work on you
We've all spent years preparing
before this band was born
With heaven's help it blended
And we do thank the lord.
Now we put you through the changes
And turned around the mood
We hope it's struck you different
And hope you feel moved
So forget about your troubles
As we search for something new
And we play for you
- Chicago

I do enjoy introductions.  I have always welcomed the calls from technology suppliers who have a new idea and have sought me out to share their story.  It is the entrepreneurial spirit incarnate in our industry and serves as not only the industry backbone, but the foundation for business in the US.  I often feel privileged to hear about these new products and services, to glimpse at the vision that is painted for me as I try to understand the opportunity.

I often feel compelled to offer feedback.  While willing provide my advice or warnings, I take care not to trample on someone's field of dreams.  I have run into enough nay-sayers in my own endeavors, and I think that all entrepreneurs must balance realistic expectations with persistent endurance.

So here's my invitation to all that have built a better mousetrap: initiate an introduction, I would love to hear more how your solution is changing the Meetings Industry.  Maybe I can make an introduction on your behalf...
