Video Marketing Expo

May 11, 2009
Wednesday, May 13th will be an enjoyable day for my calendar.  I have the chance to steal away from the office for a short time and attend an interesting event right here in Austin, Texas.  The Video Marketing Expo will feature organizations involved in the creation of compelling and entertaining online video.   Educational sessions cover cutting-edge methods for producing online videos for marketing, blogging, lead generation, and social media.

Since these topics are high on my priority list, I am always seeking new input and new ideas.  I have also become acquainted with the event organizer, Chris Justice, and appreciate the great job he and his team have done to launch this event.

As a bonus to my time spent at this event, I discovered a supplier presenting about SEO tactics who is on our RFP list for a large project.  Can't think of a better way to dig deeper into their knowledgeable base.

I do SEO work for a video marketing company called Winmax. They specialize in rapid turnover low cost videos. I'm learning about the video profession while distributing their blog articles. I have been impressed by the growing excitement re the introduction of adverts to You Tube. I've read that there are as many as 70 professional platforms, which will be catering to amateur and professional videographers alike wanting to make videos and grab their share of the You Tube advert buck. It's going to be a veritable viral video freenzy!
