Troy, Mich.-based Nimlok Grand Rapids, a provider of custom, modular tradeshow exhibits, has bucked the trend of holding onto its money and scooped up Exhibits Now, another local company. The new company will operate under the name Nimlok Metro, as a subsidiary of Nimlok Grand Rapids.

Alliance Tech Purchases nTAG 04/06/2009
Austin, Texas-based Alliance Tech, a company that provides RFID-enabled event measurement, recently bought Boston-based nTAG, which has a focus on face-to-face social networking technology and created the first interactive name badge. The sale was a fortuitous one for both companies: nTAG was in bankruptcy, and Alliance Tech was looking to branch into the type of technology nTAG offered.
