San Diego Center Breaks Records 04/27/2009
The San Diego Convention Center announced record-breaking numbers for the 2008 fiscal year, which ended June 30. According to its Fiscal Year 2008 Annual Report, the convention center generated an economic impact of $1.8 billion, up 15.4 percent from $1.56 billion in fiscal year 2007, and $32 million in tax revenues for the city, up 27 percent from $25.
