Labor Rates: Up ... Right on Cue By Joalien Johnson - 06/15/2009
This year, despite an economic downturn, the 29th annual Tradeshow Week Survey of U.S. Labor Rates has revealed that average national rates in a variety of skill segments are up, compared with last year. The good news, though, is that they’re not up by much: many rates rose less than 4 percent.

ESCA Brings GSCs, Unions Together 06/08/2009
The Exhibition Services & Contractors Assn. wants to take action to enhance the value of tradeshows during tough economic conditions. Freeman Closes Philadelphia Branch 06/01/2009
Freeman closed its Philadelphia branch office May 15 in a move toward more efficient operations, said Jeff Price, Freeman's COO. The company services 40 events in the city per year, including the American Assn. of Neurological Surgeons Annual Meeting and the American Society of Cell Biology Annual Meeting.
