The managers of at least two tradeshows with dates booked in San Antonio early this month were forced to scramble after learning the 1,000-room Grand Hyatt San Antonio would open March 19, not Feb. 6 as planned.

CMP Technology is the latest major business-to-business company to reorganize itself into divisions that serve specific sectors through multiple vehicles. It has formed four divisions that each will offer events, print publications and online services.

MGM Mirage's Q4 Soars
MGM Mirage's fourth-quarter earnings more than quadrupled, from $201.6 million in 2006 to $872.2 million this year. Revenue for the fourth quarter was also up from $1.85 billion to a record $1.93 billion, according to the company.
