Supercomm Calls on ReedX, Krause
The roller coaster of changes that the once-canceled, then reinvented and now resurrected Supercomm show has gone through plays out like a dramatic daytime soap opera, and, as with any good story, there's a new plot twist. Reed Exhibitions and E.J. Krause & Associates, through their Expocomm Events joint venture, will take over management of the show.

Many Cities Face Topsy-Turvy Times
It’s no secret that meetings, conventions and tradeshows around the country have been canceled and destinations feel the impact. While Las Vegas has been the most high-profile destination under the spotlight, other destinations, such as Orlando, also have seen cancellations.

Road to Success Starts Here, Now
Let the competition begin. Beginning March 30, Tradeshow Week will accept nominations for the seventh annual TSW Fastest 50. Each year, TSW recognizes the 50 fastest-growing trade and consumer shows during the previous three years with a weekend full of receptions, an executive-level conference and a gala awards dinner.

No Big Surprises in TSEA Exhibit Survey
The Trade Show Exhibitors Assn. has announced the results from its 2009 Exhibit Management Survey, in which 293 tradeshow exhibitors in North America participated. The findings from the 56-question survey indicate that for this year, budgets for exhibiting will decrease by about 17 percent – from $459,100 in 2008 to $381,000.
