Fresh Faces Appear on 2009 TSW 200
Having the largest tradeshow isn't the only story this year: Fifteen shows made their TSW 200 debuts as the 2009 Tradeshow Week 200 is released. The Assn. of Equipment Manufacturers' triennial CONEXPO-CON/AGG topped the list and Chicago returns to being the No. 2-ranked city by number of TSW 200 shows (after Las Vegas), unseating Orlando, which has held the position since 2006.

Three U.S. Boat Shows Capsized
Citing an oversaturated market, the Natl. Marine Manufacturers Assn. canceled three of its 23 boating shows – the San Diego Boat Show, the Schaumburg (Ill.) Boat & Sportshow and the Virginia In-Water Boat Expo & Sailfest. NMMA Executive Vice President Ben Wold said there are too many boating shows in the United States.
