E-retail Show's No. 1 at Tradeshow Week Fastest 50
At a time when economic challenges are making headlines, celebrating the growth of shows at the sixth annual Tradeshow Week Fastest 50 Nov. 7-9, honoring the 50 fastest-growing shows in the United States and Canada, became even more poignant. “This is an incredible affirmation that we got it right seven years ago,” said Ray Pekowski, CEO and chairman of The Expo Group.

Corporate Exhibitors: Sky (Might Be) Falling
Show managers, take good note: The number of exhibiting companies unhappy with the results they get from your shows, unfortunately, is skyrocketing. According to the 2008 Tradeshow Week survey of corporate exhibitors, 32 percent of companies found the results from tradeshows to be worse this year, compared with 9 percent in 2007.

EHX Fall Will Find a Brand New Home
Electronic House Expo Fall is no longer in its existing form. The show, held Nov. 5-7 at the Long Beach (Calif.) Convention & Entertainment Center, won't be staged in 2009 and will be launched as EHX@CES during the Consumer Electronic Assn.'s Intl. CES in January 2010 in Las Vegas.

Techies, Show Managers Gather for MTO Summit
Exhibiting in more than 200 events a year is no easy task for Bobbie Tracy, The Boeing Company's senior manager for the Air and Trade Shows group, so she decided to seek out technology solutions at MeetingTechOnline's inaugural 2008 MTO Summit, held Nov. 5-6 at the InterContinental Chicago O'Hare.
