    The Melbourne (Australia) Convention & Exhibition Centre officially opened on World Environment Day. The new facility previously was awarded a six-star Green Star environmental rating, the first in the world for a convention center.     The Qatar Natl. Convention Centre, slated to open in 2011, wants to set itself apart from the other sustainable convention centers.
