    During the past year, the economic recession caused shrinking showfloors and declining attendance, but WINDPOWER Conference & Exhibition wasn’t one of the those shows.   • More CCs Obtain LEED Certification
    The David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh no longer is the only exhibit space in the U.S. that is able to boast gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design system. CityCenter in Las Vegas recently announced that the Aria Resort & Casino received gold LEED certification, along with the Raleigh (N.C.) Convention Center announcing that it obtained silver certification. more » » »

    The recently held Solar Power Intl. was deemed a big hit.
