There is no doubt: 2008 and 2009 will be years to remember, and, while few respondents to the 2009 Tradeshow Week Exhibition Management Survey were willing to say the worst was behind them (in fact, a majority said it wasn't), almost as many show managers said they expected revenue increases next year as said they expected revenue declines. more » » »

BDMetrics Gets New Name, But Loses Its Old Products
Bythe end of last year, shifts at BDMetricsstarted to occur, including founder Rick Geritz stepping down and Mollie Spilman stepping in. Global Leaders: Making a Schur Bet
When Larry Schur decided to launch ABC Kids Expo shortly after Sept. 11, he took a gamble. He set up the show, responding to manufacturers’ pleas for a fall event because previous shows they took part in had been canceled. Schur said he knew the launch was risky, but he hoped for the best.
