    The past few months have been a roller coaster ride for Las Vegas, with its convention attendance going from a steep drop of nearly 60 percent in August to the first increase in more than a year in September. Unfortunately, reality sunk in again in October, with fewer meeting attendees heading to Las Vegas, 349,383, compared with 381,129 in the same period in 2008, an 8.3-percent decrease. more » » »
